Clever Thinking
Our traditional methods of making decisions often involve lots of debate; however, the decision taken is not always well informed, inventive or creative.
This workshop will introduce you to a method of ‘collaborative’ decision making. You can learn to think creatively – ‘outside the box’. Regardless of whether you view yourself as a creative type or not, you can learn some useful skills and techniques which will enable you to tap into your creative side and approach decision making and problem solving from new perspectives.
In this workshop we’ll explore ways of thinking about a problem or issue from interesting perspectives and increase the likelihood that the decisions you make are well informed and fully considered.
Bring $15 (payable to tutor) for workbook.
Course outcomes
At the conclusion of this workshop you will be able to:
- Identify why decisions made using traditional thinking styles can sometimes backfire
- Apply collaborative thinking techniques to explore ideas and make decisions
- Identify creative alternatives to problems and issues
- Evaluate new ways of thinking about an idea or problem

Individuals and work teams will benefit from this workshop.
